Love is ...

Love is patient
Love is kind, it is not envious
Love does not brag, it is not puffed up
It is not rude, it is not self-serving, it is not easily angered or resentful
It is not glad about injustice, but rejoices in the truth
It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things

Let it go ... So that it will grow :)

If you want something badly, let it go. If it comes back to you, then it's going to be yours forever. If it doesn't then it's never going to be yours...Just like a butterfly in your palm. The tighter you hold it, you will choke it. But if you lossen it, it might fly away and it's not something that you have control of. But if you are worth coming back, the butterfly will find it's way back before you know it.

Diamond or stones ? You decide...

This illustration is so well represented. Often we got so caught up with distractions and other minor things in life that we neglect the things closest to our hearts. Worse, if we took it for granted. When will we realised that our love ones are the one who will always be there for us? It's very much like the 'wind', you can't see it but you can feel it when it's there and often very uplifting.

Raphael

You can't get any cuter than that! This is Vincent's nephew - Raphael. Another darling ... smooch!

Laura et moi

Laura and moi... she is such a darling! She is Vincent's niece. She is smart and cute. She gave me a drawing with butterflies on it before I left Paris. I could not speak french and wish so much that I could talk to her. Someday ...

mademoiselle michelle

This is me! To prove that I am really in Paris (just in case some of you didn't believe me).

Didn't get to head for the canal this time, but won't miss it the next. Anyway just sitting by it and having an ice cream cone is more than enough for that moment. yum yum ....

Gosh... I was just looking at myself, I have put on weight tremendously! But fret not, it's all under control now due to my determination to the gym 4 times a week!

Details... details... many things in Paris capture the eyes... I guess that's how they earn the title -"City of Love". Love looks at things in details, care and much passion.

The enchanting Notre-Dame.

The soaring Gothic towers of Notre-Dame. The only thing I missed out is the night light for this structure. Some parts of this building is still under repair. I will back for it once its done. Besides, the queue for that day was way too long for my patience.

Either way you look at it, Notre-Dame is just beautiful :)

OK ... I know this picture does not fit into the sequence here but this was home cooked BBQ and it was delicious ! French food is never greasy and girls if you are thinking of staying slim ... try French cuisine.

Before heading for the nice things, one has to go through this simple things in life first. It was just a lazy day out and this hand made mini sail boats were released into the fountain. The breeze was strong enough to steer it. It was scorching HOT!

Every detail in the arcitecture, statues, sculptures in Paris leave one in awe. This is the arch in the Tuileries, just before heading to the Lourve.

Quartier Des Tuileries - wonderful garden, there are fountains, shades, ice cream stalls are roaming in that area, statues... basically a place to relax... just love it here.

Reflection

Can you see the reflection? I really like this picture, it's probably not a professional standard, just that I like the effect of the new and the old combine. Besides, I took the picture, so I have to like it. The Lourve (pyramid) A celebration of angles, the pyramid's 666 panes of glass are held together with stainless steel nodes and cables. They reflect and, to some minds, complement the ancient curves of the surrounding main buildings.

The Lourve...this is something modern in this really classic city. Needless to say, it's always much better in real life. Are you tempted yet ?

Another icon for Paris - The Grand Palai from Pont Alexandre III. It's much more beautiful in the real life.

I know its a bit far... but try to spot the ARCH ahead of you... Napoleon's grand centrepiece, The Arc de Triomphe.

Obelix

This is arr... a memorial... I can't remember the name. I really struggle with the names :(

Indeed a beautiful fountain...Let me remind you it was a lovely day in Paris!

Fountain in the Place de Concorde! It was a hot and lovely day in Paris... I almost jumped into this beautiful icon of Paris.

~waiting~

As you are waiting for God to do something because of a vision, a dream, a porphesy, a heart's desire, or a prayer? Be encouraged by King David's words in Psalm 31:14,15 : "But as for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say 'You are my God'. My times are in Your hand." Even though circumstances may seem to tell you that the enemy has succeeded in pushing you into a corner, or in holding you down in a small place with little hope of escape, be strengthened by God's word in Psalm 31:7,8 : "I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, for you have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities, and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place."
Take comfort in the knowledge that as you walk in obedience to God's will for your life, He will bring you out into the large places of victory! Your times are in HIS hands!
Before the foundations of the world were laid, God chose you in the Beloved, Jesus Christ (Eph 1:4). Therefore, as HE chose you, He also chose a plan and purpose for your life (John 15:16). God did the choosing, because He knows you best and HE wants the best for you. And as you pursue God's plan, He will make everything beautiful in its time (Eccl 3:11).
You are not an accident! When you parents had you, it was by the direction of God. (Whether they realized it or not, God had you in His plans.) As you were being "fearfully and wonderfully made" in your mother's womb (Ps 139:14), the plan, the purpose, and the will of Almighty God were also beinng fashioned into you.
God longs for you and me to come into that place where His will, plan and purpose are fulfilled in our lives.
Remember, "To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven" (Eccl 3:1). Therefore, despise not "the day of small things" (Zech 4:10). A small thing can grow into an enormous work for God, so continue to be a faithful steward in all things.
Your times are in His hands, and your time is coming !

Season comes, season goes

I have not been updating my blog for sometime now. Spring was indeed a busy season for me. Many things had happened and I know that I need to continue to embrace what's ahead of me. I had so much to write and talk about and I do not know where to begin. How to begin ? Which phase or angle should I cover first ?

It's been 2 months since I revisit my blog site. In fact I realised that I have been inconsistent with my e-mails reply too. OK I will break it down by the highlights for the last 2 months. I hope I can remember everything. This time, I will not be so comprehensive and try to get everything into my blog.
