Atomium

This is one of the icon for Belgium. Apparently, it's an atom of a potato. Not sure how true that is but its quite a fasinating structure. It was built post WW2 and it was suppose to be a temporary structure. It was first erected in aluminium and they are undergoing a face change. Hence, we were not able to go in it. It's alot shinnier now as it's been changed to steel. It will be opened again next year. So will see whether it's worth coming back for it... err may be not.

Lee Adventure

My lovely parents. I really miss them! They have been here for 2 months, I have to learn to get use to the fact that they are not here anymore. No more home cooked food for me...

The blue thing

Have not seen one of those things for ages now! But I think you will look at me instead of that blue thing... hehe

Comic land and us

Tin Tin and his adventure team originates here in Belgium. There are a few areas (rather a few streets) in the city where there are comics painted on the walls of old buildings. What a way to capture one's attention. Somehow, just makes the city more friendly and inviting.

We want to be part of this adventure... "kiasu". If any of you have read Tin Tin before you would have recognised this rocket. This is the comic museum. Well, I didn't really visit the place as I didn't want to pay for it. Plus my parents were not interested at all, coupled with the fact that we were hungry, so it was a decision to move on to another gastronomic destination. Yum Yum ...

God's greatest gift to me!

My loving parents! I believe they have been through the good and the bad, in health and and in sickness. It's just so encouraging to see them together, ever loving and always caring. They are indeed a wonderful blessing to me. Every tear and heartache that I have caused them must be painful, yet they love unceasingly.

I LOVE YOU, mom and dad! I honour you because it's my duty, I love you because of your commitment and sacrifice. I will continue to pray that God will fulfill and bless the desires of your heart and that you will continue to experience abundance of joy. With this, I could only thank the Maker of our soul.

AM BLESSED!

France Vs Swiss

This will be a short entry, nevertheless an interesting one so it deserves a place in my blog.

It was my first ever experience to watch a full football match without single interruption. Is not that I do not know anything about football, just my first time ever that I am discipline enough to finish the match. The score was 1 and 1. This result was fairly a disappointing one. I was expecting a winner! Afterall this is the qualifying match for the World Cup.

This whole experience took place in a French Restaurant called Le bouchon. The restaurant is sub divided into 2. One hungry for food and the other hunger for victory in this fooball match. I was in the latter with a friend Houda and my better half (hopefully), Vincent.

Now I realised why the men and some 'women' like a good football match. Each time a player scores a goal, the adrenalin pump was just good especially you have all the fans in a single room. The last 20 minutes was nerve wrecking to be honest...and I believe this is the same in any football match. I could truly understand why a man likes football now...
